Heritage Physician Network (HPN) is the Independent Physician Association (IPA) management arm for SelectCare of Texas, which is the oldest Medicare Managed Care plan operating in the Houston area. Founded in 1996 through the integration of Excel Physician Group and United Medical Care, HPN offers an extensive network of family physicians, specialists and hospitals providing quality care to over 9,500 members in the greater Houston area. Today we have over 622 of physicians dedicated to serving the needs of our community.
HPN currently has three networks in the greater Houston area including Heritage Southeast SEMNet Local Physician Organization (LPO), Heritage Southwest LPO, and Heritage West LPO.
